About Ed Sheeran

-Ed Sheeran was born on February 17, 1991 in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire England. After being raised in Framlingham, Suffolk, he pursued a career in music in London in 2008. In 2011 he released an independent album called No. 5 Collaborations Project. After catching the attention of Elton John and Jamie Foxx, he signed with Asylum Records and released his debut album called +. This album earned a quintuple platinum in the UK and spread to the US in early 2012. Later, in 2014 he was nominated for Best New Artist in the 56th Annual Grammys
