Battle of Lexington and Concord
The British troops had planed to seize the weapons the colonists had. Paul Revere saw this and started on a midnight ride to warn the colonists. On April 19, the British had entered Lexington to find 70 minute men waiting. They started to leave until a shot was fired. The British won this little fight. They then got to Concord to find no arms. So they started to march back. They then found 300 minute men waiting. The British were forced to retreat. The colonists were still shooting at the British while they were retreating. The British lost 73 men and 200 were missing or wounded.
