Instead Zeus told them to go down to earth and have Paris of Troy decide who got it. Each goddess brought something with them to help bribe young Paris. Hera almost bribed him with with wealth and power. Then Athene also almost bribed him with having great wisdom. Then Aphrodite bribed him by giving him Helen the wife of King Menelaus of the Greeks so he chose Aphrodite and she helped him steal Helen for King Menelaus.
