What is a grass land?

Grasslands are known to have very flat land with lots of vegetation and exotic animals throughout. The most well known grassland is found in Africa which is the home to some of the most well known animals such as lions, tigers, cheetahs, ect. It has some of the most exotic scenery in the world.
