1st Step:

Transcription is in the nucleus and makes an mRNA strand using DNA as a template. Through the pores of the nucleus, mRNA comes out. When mRNA comes out, it has exons and introns.

2nd Step:

Translation occurs in the Ribosome of the Cytoplasm and "translates" nucleic acids to protein. mRNA is read by ribosomes snd then the ribosome sends messages to protein. tRNA brings corresponding amino acid to ribosome. Then ribsomes bond amino acids together. Translation stopes when the ribosome reads a stop codon. (UAG, UAA, UGA)
