Worchester vs. Georgia:

A trial with the Supreme Court on weather or not Georgia could make the Worchester Indians leave to a reserve. The Worchesters won, but Georgia didn't listen.


Nullification Crisis:

When South Carolina didn't like the tariffs, they threatened to secede unless they could nullify laws that their state didn't like.
