In 1994, Priebke was interviewed on an ABC news story where he admitted to crimes and claimed he was just following orders. After the interviewed was aired he was arrested and extradited to Italy. Upon questioning, Priebke admits to killing "mostly terrorists" and denied killing young teenagers in the massacre. Many argued he was too old to arrest.
