Why

The V1 and V2 were crucial to the rocket development and space race. The V1 and V2 was the first ballistic liquid fuel rocket or rockets overall. 

We use the information today to make other space developments like probes, rockets, space suits, etr... Etr... The advancements and technology of the V1 and V2 were way ahead of their time. One of The reasons the V2 was way ahead of its time was its engine.

It's engine was like no other. It is run on alcohol and liquid oxygen.

It was the first no man flight with a rocket. It wasn't accurate but it did cause panic and destruction.
