The colonists and British reactions
After the boycott from the colonists the British responded with outrage. The British expected the colonists to obey and accept what they put in place. A Pennsylvanian farmer named John Dickinson, wrote a series of letters known as "the 12 letters from a farmer in Pennsylvania." It was John Dickenson's idea to boycott the British goods.
