Hagiography

While teaching his homilies to Ezekiel, a curtain was drawn between Gregory and his secretary. After pope gregory stayed silent for a long period of time, the servant cut a hole, he saw a dove on top of pope Gregory's head and it's beak was in between his lips. When the dove withdrew its beak, the holy pontiff would speak and the secretary would write down his words. But when the dove remained silent again, the secretary would look through the small hole again, the doves beak for the second time.
