The prophecy of Uranus would come true and Cronus, his son, would eventually be supplanted by his children. So Cronus swallowed each of his children as they were being born. His children were the Olympians, trapped inside his body. When Rhea gave birth to her 6th child Zeus, she hid herself to have the baby and tricked Cronus into swallowing a rock wrapped in swaddling clothes rather than Zeus. Rhea placed Zeus in the care of the Melian nymphs. Zeus grew up in their care and he grew to be strong and powerful. He eventually attacked his father and released his siblings.
