John 17: Jesus is praying to the Father just before He is betrayed. This prayer contains the heart of Christ for the world (to have an eternal relationship with the triune God), His purpose in coming (to accomplish the work of God and to manifest Him to the world), His purpose for the disciples (to reveal Jesus as Messiah and Savior by living out the scripture and therefore living set apart from the world), and His hope for the disciples (they would live in perfect unity with one another as a reflection of the perfect unity within the Godhead).
