Credit Cards

-Credit- is a bank that lends an individual money and trusts they will pay it back


-Minimum Payment- is the minimum amount of a credit card bill that must be paid


-Due date- is the date payment is due


-Late payment fee- is a fee charged when a cardholder does not make the minimum payment by the due date


-Credit Line- is the maximum amount of money that can be charged to a credit card


-Debit Card- is a plastic card that is electronically connected to an individual's bank account


-Blue or Black pen should be the color you used to write checks


-Always check credit card statement to make sure there are no false purchases on the account


-develop a habit of tearing up any credit card offers or credit cards received in the mail


-report lost or stolen credit cards promptly.


-if you have a credit card in your wallet that you do not use anymore, you could call and cancel it
