How Did Slavery Affect...

The American Economy:

The economy grew because there was more people working on the land which consequently speeded up the production of crops.

American Government:

The government was very lightly affected, since the only thing major that occurred was that the Fugitive Slave Act was passed. As well as the Slave Trade Act.

Southern Society's:

The Southern a Society was affected in the way that there was now more people on the Social Pyramid. Since slaves were becoming very big.

African-Americans:

African-Americans were impacted the most, since they were treated poorly, lived under poor conditions, and seperated from their families.
