Minnehaha Park

Minnehaha Park is on the banks of the Mississippi, surrounding Minnehaha Creek, a tributary of the Mississippi, and Minnehaha Falls. The park is most known for its iconic Falls (pictured on the left).The falls have long been an important site to the native Dakota people. Minnehaha means "falling water" in Dakota. In the summer the park hosts a variety of concerts and entertainment!

Lake Calhoun

Being the largest lake in Minneapolis, lake Calhoun is home to many fun summer activities. It has everything from biking, walking trails, paddle boards, kayaks, and swimming!
