Causes:

-heart conditions

-heavy internal or external bleeding

-dehydration

-infection

-severe allergic reaction

-spinal injuries

-burns

-persistent vomiting or diarrhea

Prevention:

Shock can only be prevented by taking steps to prevent the causes like heart disease and dehydration.
