POSSIBLE SIDE EFFECTS

there is an increased risk of death in geriatric patients with dementia

stroke is also reported in geriatric patients with dementia

Tardive dyskinesia has been reported in some cases

Neuroleptic malignant syndrome requires immediate discontinuance of the drug

severe hyperglycemia is possible

there is also a possible risk of seizures

(these are a lot less likely in most younger adults who are otherwise healthy)
