Features

The Elf Owl is a very small owl. It's wingspan is 9 inches. It is 5 inches tall. It is brown, white, gray, and it's eyes are yellow. When an Elf Owl is captured it will play dead until the predators go away. The length is  13-14cm. The wing length is 99-115mm. The tail length is 45-53mm. Males weigh 36-44g. Females weigh 41-48g. The Elf Owl is not very aggressive. It will fly away instead of fighting.
