When sediments form into the ground, and comes to rest after erosion. When deposition happens, the rocks and sediments are now no longer moving and is staying in one place. When you play freeze tag, and you get tagged, and are frozen that is like deposition, you stay in one place and don't move until the Rock cycle starts again.
