When the writer tells about their opinion on The Boy in the Striped Pajamas, their largest problem with the story is with the inaccuracies. They feel as if the story did not reflect the terrible happenings that occurred during the Holocaust, but twists what actually happened into a less sinister perspective. Some things that were wrong with the story that they point out is that there would not be a nine year old boy in Auschwitz, Bruno wouldn't have been so naive to what a Jewish person was and what was going on behind the fence and he wouldn't have been so oblivious if he was a real person. Personally, after reading about their opinion I sadly have to agree with them due to all the evidence that was given to back his opinion up. Belch is correct when he says that it is inaccurate and not as grim as it should be making me believe his opinion is correct. However, I still enjoy the story of Bruno even though it has blankly been pointed out as a historically and practically wrong fable.
