On August 18th of 2014 I purchased Netflix (NFLX). I bought 58 shares of Netflix at a cost of $467.67 each share. I then sold several shares at a selling price of $467.72 which left me at a loss of $10.16. I decided to buy and keep Netflix because many people purchase from the streaming media company and I thought that it would thrive. Netflix is a video rental and streaming website that allows people to watch unlimited tv shows and movies at a very low cost per month. On August 28th I sold 28 shares of Netflix at a selling price of $476.86 and made profit of $9.14 a share. Near the end of the Stock Market game, Netflix disappointed me in their performance, leaving me in a lower ranking.
