From the research that we've found online we found out that photosynthesis is most effective with plants that have a larger surface area of capturing sunlight, Not only that but plants must also be regulated to the amount of sunlight they receive in order for them not to become over-saturated. Lighting serves a bug role in order for these plants to achieve photosynthesis. With vertical farming we can regulate the lighting and temperature making it so that plants are able to perform photosynthesis very effectively!
