Sales practices - covers any unsolicited or unlawful sales and agreements, pyramid schemes and harassment. businesses are responsible for complying and for identifying when this is breached.

Unfair contract terms - covers what is categorised as an unfair term, contract, or agreement and what is affected by the law. Businesses have to avoid these contracts as outlined in the guide.

Compliance and enforcement - covers how regulators enforce the ACL, which businesses should be adhering to regardless.

Consumer product safety - covers the safety standards regarding products, businesses have to provide adequate notice and warnings.
