Morals and Relevance

This scripture teaches us that our Lord does not support or like self-righteousness, but rather humility. For when the Pharisee and Tax Collector left, He was more happy with the Tax Collector who humbled himself, then the Pharisee who was 'sinless' and self-righteous.

Nowadays, People pray only when they need something and often, they forget to say thanks and give praise for His blessings and for answering our many pleas. This scripture demonstrates and teaches us how to pray and that you must humble yourself before our Lord no matter how many good deeds we've done, and that no matter how sinful we have been he will always forgive and love us.
