How does your family define illness?

They have NORMAL HEALTHCARE BELIEFS. If your sick then it must be because you have a bacterial or viral infection of some sorts

Need to take medication to get better (if it's something major)

Use both Home remedies and Medication when dealing with illness

Maternal Grandfather's Dad: "If you have a fever don't eat for a few days (take medicines and drink lots of fluids) and then you'd get better"

What does your family define as a minor illness?

They define things like merely a Cough, Cold, or Fever as minor illnesses (giving nothing else accompanies them and they aren't that severe)

If an illness is short in duration (2-3 days or less) than it would viewed as minor illness (i.e. not needing medical attention)
