A symbol of peace for Ireland

The Easter Lilly is a sign of peace for Ireland, and it came to be that way because of a war ware 100's of mean were killed on Easter rising in 1916. The flower is a sign of peace and hope for the future that nothing so horrible will happen again. The Easter Lilly reminds Ireland of what happened on that Easter rising and is a remembrance of the Irish combatants who died or were injured during that war.
