Facts

1. 2011- 20% of high school students were bullied at school. 33% were reported being involved in a physical fight.
2. More than 7% of students 9-12th grade were getting threatened/injured with weapons on school grounds last year. An additional 6% wanted to bring a weapon for protection.
3. 2011- 1 million kids were harassed, threatened , or subjected to cyber bullying on Facebook.
4. Violent school threats have increase 158% since 2010-2011
5. 39% of schools (2009-2010) took serious attention to this problem.
