Mixtures are made up of two substances mingled together but not chemically combined.

Mixtures can be made of compounds or elements in no definite amount.

A pack of skittles is a mixture of different coloured skittles which varies from bag to bag.for example there might be 12 red skittles in one bag and 7 in another.
