Reflection

Hatchet is one of my favorite books. If I ever got stranded in a forest in Canada, I would want to have this book with me to guide me. Brian went through many obstacles and had a lot of struggles. Brian had to use the things he had, clothes and hatchet, to build things.

The hatchet was probably the most important thing he had with him. Many things came from the hatchet, fire, shelter and food. When Brian dropped the hatchet in the lake he thought if he did not get it he would have to find other ways of survival.

I think it would be hard to return to normal life after being lost for fifty four days. He would probably be really happy to see his parents and not have to hunt for food and build a shelter. He would be happy top be home.d
