Motor Nerves

Sensory Nerves

Motor nerves allow the brain to control all muscles. Through motor nerves, the brain sends signals to tell muscles to expand or contract so we can move.

Sensory nerves carry signals to the brain to tell it about what is going on in the outside world. The signals come from our skin, eyes, tongue, nose, and ears. Without them you would have no senses.
