Rapid population growth can make communities under pressure for more materials and natural resources, such as food and land.

Fortunately, due to technological advances, women’s role in the workforce, and medicinal advances, we have been able to decrease the population growth rate.

In order to sustain the billions of people on this planet, land is necessary, which in turn plays a role in deforestation and habitat destruction.

The population will be capped at 10 billion, and will not be able to grow any further.
