(Bufo fowleri)

Fowler’s Toad

(The toad almost looks as if it were a rock, but it does its job of camouflage so well)

The fowler’s toad can be often found in the woodlands of the southern Lower Peninsula in our home state of Michigan. It can grow to about 2 to

3 1/2 inches in length.

The toad’s voice is a short bleeding cry.
