Reptiles
Reptiles are cold-blooded vertebrates. They are tetrapods, meaning they have 4 leg-like appendages, scales, and lay amniotic eggs on land only. Their eyes are important sense organs. Some examples of the 8,000 species are snakes (Serpentes) and crocodiles (Crododylinae).
Birds
Warm blooded vertebrates with feathers, wings, and beaks. They reproduce by laying eggs. Some examples are the Cuban Bee Hummingbird (Calypte helena) and the ostrich (Struthio camelus), though there are roughly 10,000 species.
