Brendan Gleeson

Brendan Gleeson was born in Dublin, Ireland in 1955. He is an actor and film director. He has recieved an Emmy award and has been nominated for a Golden Globe three times.

He has been in 'Troy' , 'Braveheart' , 'Michael Collins' and starred in the Harry Potter series as the character Mad-Eye Moody.

He has also appeared in a short film that is spoken entirely in Irish and which we study in school,
