Terry-terry plays free safety for his schools team. Terry is moved because of the way he is growing. He now must adjust to nose tackle.

Nicky-Nicky is Terry's younger brother. He has Down syndrome a disease making it harder for Nicky to learn and his body doesn't grow the way others do. Nicky doesn't let that get in the way of his dream of being a track star.
