Aim of the event and themes

The aim of the event was to support a stimulating learning and reflection process with BRACED partners to explore learning from BRACED implementation to date and what the recommendations for future resilience programming would be.

Each day was structured around a key theme:

Day 1: Improving programming and practice

Day 2: Linking Resilience, Adaptation and Development

Day 3: Effective Learning in Consortia

The event included many different ways of engaging with each other: plenary sessions, a learning marketplace, parallel sessions, a film festival and a photo exhibition. This year the Annual Learning Event also included a field trip, excellently hosted by iDE, to share lessons learnt first hand by engaging with community members. This field trip was a new element this year, and was much appreciated by participants.
