Types of bridges

Pros : Quite cheap (minimum of materials needed) , strong, versatile (can be constructed almost anywhere) , pleasing looking ( sculpture on the landscape). They can span large gaps without creating flow restrictors underneath.

Cons : Need very careful engineering as stable vibration modes can be disastrous, potential sabotage targets, aircraft hazard, very flexible.
