1. Choose a theme

2. Brainstorm words

3. Arrange words to fit a steady beat.

4. Try to include some longer words

e.g. with 2,3 or 4 syllables.

Foot-ball = 2 syllables

Ref-er-ee = 3 syllables

5. You could use “non-sense” words

that simply sound good (e.g. onomatopoeia)

6. Leave a few boxes empty (rests)

7. Try to build up to an exciting finish
