The Siege of Boston. Ticonderoga - Is an old British fort located at the southern end of Lake Champlain in New York. Washington only had 36 barrels of gunpowder but he made a rumor that spread saying that he had 1,800 barrels of gunpowder. He needed artillery such as heavy guns and cannons. He loaded 59 cannons onto huge sleds and dragged them 300 miles to Boston. He also carried 2,300 pounds of lead for future bullets. Boston was about to be put under siege. British Abandon Boston - They abandoned Boston so they don't have to risk another attack. He got his artillery from Dorchester.
