Calypso used whatever she could to let Odysseus to stay this island and be with her forever.
As time goes, 7 years is past.

Odysseus stayed for 7 years, because she is so beautiful and he has no way to go. However, he did not forget what is his call.
He has to go back to his kingdom and his family.
