Theme

In Tuck Everlasting one of the main themes that was shared with us was, sometimes you must do the wrong thing for the right reason. One of the scenes in Tuck Everlasting takes place in the Tucks home. The Man in the Yellow Suit has just appeared and has told the Tucks his whole mischievous plan. Immediately Maye Tuck decides to kill the Man in the Yellow Suit. Although Maye comited murder, she was doing it for the right reason, she did it to protect the world and all who live in it. In the story, Urashima Taro and the Sea Princess, Urashima Taro decided to open the forbidden box. At the moment it seemed like a good idea and a good way to get home to his wife. Though the minuet he opened the box, death and sadness fled out of the box causing Urashima Taro to die old and weak. Very much like Maye Tuck Urashima Taro did something for the right reason though in the end Urashima Taro had to pay the fair consequences.
