Three catagories of symptoms
-Motor or movement
-personality or behavioral
-cognitive decline

SYMTPOMS
-restlessness
-twitching and desire to move about
-handwriting becomes less controlled
-difficulty speaking and swallowing
-slowness of voluntary movements

Prognosis
Death usually occurs between ten and thirty years after disease onset

TREATMENT
Treatment is aimed at reducing the disability caused by motor impairments
-Motor symptoms can be treated with drugs
-occupational therapy is used to help preserve memory for doing daily activities.
-Preparing softer foods and eating slower and more cautiously
