After getting shot on October 9, 2012 Malala needed instense repair. She was flown out to Birmingham, England. She had multiple surgeries and an induced coma to safe her life. For the first few days her recover her family couldn't be with her. The shooting brought a lot of attention to her and to her campaign. She became a nominee for the Nobel Piece Price, an award got named after her, a promise that the literacy rate will be raised, and so much more.
