- Members of the FLDS must cover everything but their head, face, and hands.

- Women do not cut their hair. They believe they will wash their husband's feet with it in Heaven.
- Women belong to the prophet and their husbands. There sole purpose is to have children.
- They are told to "keep sweet", to swallow pride, and swallow emotion.
