To prevent skin cancer like malignant melanoma you should stay out of the sun especially between twelve to four. Wearing protective clothing or a hat that covers up your body from the sun will also help to protect you from skin cancer. Have a yearly check up with a dermatologist so that he can look over you and if you do have malignant melanoma catching it early could the difference between life or death.
Sunscreen is very important to wear when your outside it protects you from dangerous uv radiation make sure to wear sunscreen with SFP 30 or higher when your spending a lot of time outside. Studies show that you should reapply sunscreen often even if it says water proof or last for two hours better safe than sorry.
