I, personally, believed that the ending of the novella was perfect for the book. The animals being unable to tell the difference between the arguing pigs and humans was exactly what I imagined would have happened. I was extremely pleased with the ending due to how much it supported the theme of the importance to stand by your beliefs or suffer the consequences.
