Allports trait theory
Cardinal trait- trait that dominates and shapes a persons
behavior. These are the ruling passions and obsessions.

Central trait- general characteristics found in some degree in
every person. These are the building blocks that shape most of our
behavior although they are not as overwhelming as cardinal traits. Ex
honesty

Secondary trait- these are the characteristics seen only in
certain circumstances. Must be included to provide a complete picture
of human complexity. Ex particular likes or dislikes that a very close
friend may know.

Charlie sheen shows relation to the cardinal trait because of his
need/want for fame and money.
