Education needed.

It is important to have a graduate degree in marine biology. A lot of researchers say it is great to have a M.S. Or a Ph.D degree.

Job roles

On a daily basis a marine biologist could be doing any sort of role. Some stay on and off shore studying a certain sort of marine life, or they could work at aquariums taking care of the marine life there. Their main focus though is the study of marine life as a whole.
