How is a force measured?

You can measure forces with a spring scale. The unit of measurement the spring scale uses are called newtons. In order to use the spring scale accurately you need to put the clip part on something that will support it, on the other end you want to hook it on to the thing you want to move. Whatever number the dial says is the number of newtons it takes to move that object.

Examples: if you want to see how much force a small object has or if you want to see how much force a weight has
