After 70 days, the Egyptians remove all the natron from the body and wrap the body in linen. We first, excavated the salt off, then weighed it, it surprisingly became lighter. Then, we covered our potatoes in another layer of salt and left it for 18 days.

My Observations:

- The potato turned very dark, into a black or brown color after we left it in salt for a week.

- It was also very slimy and slippery.

- The weight became lighter by 2.1 ounces.
